Thanksgiving Dinner

05

Sharing dinner with family and friends on Thanksgiving Day is one of the most special American experiences. The traditional “first Thanksgiving” dates back to 1621 in what is now the state of Massachusetts. It’s become a tradition here in Linz, too.

Once again, we gathered together to celebrate over a delicious, all-you-can-eat turkey dinner with the favorite fixings. The chef stuffed and glazed and roasted the turkey into mouth-watering perfection.

A lively entertainment program followed dinner when U.S. Teaching Assistants presented the holiday’s history and customs and our vocally gifted member Carolyn Bruce and her pianist Nikola Stanosevic uplifted us with their 100% JAZZ program.
